A Day Devoted to Strengthening the Ideals of Peace
The ultimate reason behind the post "International understanding" is on the background of the celebration of 'International Day of Peace' (“Peace Day”). It is observed around the world each year on 21 September. Established in 1981 by resolution 36/37, the United Nations General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples. The theme of the 2015 International Day of Peace is 'Partnerships for Peace - Dignity for All'.
As it is stated above, the peace day is devoted to strengthen the ideals of peace among the nations or the universe as a whole. But the question is "can a single day in a year can make such changes?". The simple "no" answer also is of zero value. So in order to make changes in the world, it is highly possible only through 'EDUCATION'. The term 'Education' have a wider concept. It includes various subjects, also there is no age limit for getting educated. For a successful accomplishment for spreading peace, a specific topic relating to it and students of specific age group must be selected. Here comes the importance of the title "INTERNATIONAL UNDERSTANDING", and the result will be more effective while educating the youth.
